History

Bruno Söhnle began his watch career in 1957 at his brother's factory in Wurmberg, later distributing Swiss and other brands before founding his own watch company in 2000 in Glashütte as a 60th birthday gift to himself, starting with quartz wristwatches. His daughter Stephanie Söhnle joined in 1997 and became managing director, overseeing operations from the renovated former Assmann House atelier. In 2008, the company introduced its first mechanical watches with manual winding, expanding beyond quartz, and launched the Facetta 1957 line in 2014.²⁵
