History

Groups360 was founded in 2014 by former Gaylord Entertainment executives David Kloeppel and Kemp Gallineau to address inefficiencies in booking hotels for groups. In 2020, Groups360 acquired Singapore-based IDEM Hospitality, integrating IDEM’s attendee-management and room-block tools into GroupSync. In 2022, Groups360 raised $35 million from Zigg Capital, Blackstone Innovations Investments, and Fir Tree Partners to expand its platform and housing solutions. Accor, Hilton, IHG, and Marriott have also invested in the company.
