History

Infor was founded in June 2002 as Agilisys after being spun out of Systems & Computer Technology Corp., initially serving process-manufacturing ERP customers. The company expanded through acquisitions and acquired Germany-based Infor Business Solutions AG in 2004, then adopted the Infor Global Solutions name. It moved its headquarters from Alpharetta, Georgia, to New York in 2012. Koch Equity Development acquired a two-thirds stake in 2017, and Koch Industries bought the remaining minority interest in 2020.
