Overview

SlidesLive is a conference recording and event-technology company founded in 2012. The company is known for recording and streaming professional events, synchronizing presentation slides with speaker video, providing post-production, and hosting talks in its SlidesLive Library. Its market position combines event production services with software and a long-term digital content platform rather than focusing solely on venue AV rental.

The company reports operations and teams across the United States and Europe and says it has recorded more than 4,000 events and hosts more than 120,000 talks. Its notable distinction is an integrated workflow that covers event capture, live distribution, slide-video synchronization, editing, and online hosting.

History

SlidesLive was founded in 2012 by Vojta Ciml, a computer science graduate of Czech Technical University in Prague; Vojtech Drbohlav is also identified as a co-founder. It began as a software-as-a-service tool for synchronizing presentation slides with video. The company expanded U.S. operations in 2015 and established a New York presence, later developing production operations in Prague, Munich, New York, and Las Vegas. Its trajectory shifted toward full-service conference recording, live streaming, post-production, and hosting while retaining its presentation-synchronization technology.

Reputation

SlidesLive is positioned by professionals as a specialist conference-recording provider with technical expertise in slide-video synchronization, event streaming, and content hosting. Its reported scale, international operations, and combination of production and software capabilities are key strengths. Publicly available information provides limited independent review coverage, and service pricing is generally quote-based, which makes direct price comparison difficult. Company-reported employee and activity figures vary across sources, so the workforce estimate should be treated as approximate.
