History

Trefl was founded in 1985 by Kazimierz Wierzbicki in Gdynia, Poland, initially focusing on jigsaw puzzles. By 1989, it expanded to international markets, and has grown into one of Europe's leading puzzle manufacturers. In 2001, Trefl S.A. was formally established as a joint-stock company. Since 2008, it has distributed Siku car models and serves as the exclusive VTech distributor in Poland. In 2020, it opened a Research & Development Centre and invested in production machinery.
